Litmus offers free browser testing for the next three weekends!
Litmus, an advanced testing tool for browser testing has made a very generous announcement. Thousands of freelancers and agencies (even larger companies like facebook, ebay, and yahoo) rely on the Litmus app to insure that there websites are fully functional across a wide variety of browsers.
Litmus recently went through a major expansion, and has since noticed that their systems are only at 85% capacity during weekends. Due to the extra resources not being used, they have decided to give away free browser testing during the weekends (for the next three weekends).
This means you can run an unlimited number of full browser tests and full email tests across there entire range of browsers and email clients.
In order to take advantage of the offer, all you have to do is just log in to your Litmus account between midnight Friday through midnight Sunday (Eastern Standard Time) on the weekends of 14th, 21st and 28th February and start testing! If you don’t already have an account, you can create one in 30 seconds.
We’ve used the Litmus application and love the interface as well as many of the features that are not available in competing applications.
For all of those that need to do cross browser testing during the week and don’t want to spend the extra cash, you can always use the free alternative Browsershots.org (keep in mind, the features in the litmus app are certainly worth the extra money).
